Timing: 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Speakers : Ruth Gudino, Beth Karpiak, Stephanie Ridella, Renee Thibault
Venue : Room 590

Come hear from a panel of attorneys at government and legal aid organizations as they present their tips for summer job success.  What can you do to start off on the right foot?  What do supervisors expect of their law clerks/interns?  What qualities and attributes will make you a “star” intern?  How do you handle assignments?  When you make a mistake, how should you handle it?  If working directly with clients, how do you communicate effectively; and can a law student, with supervision, provide advice to clients?  How do you exit gracefully at the end of the summer, or continue the relationship into future semesters?
