ELS Summer Fellowships

Each year, ELS raises money to offer a Summer Fellowship. The Fellowship is intended to assist deserving students who have secured unpaid or underpaid summer positions at environmental law or public interest organizations, governmental bodies or firms. The purpose of the Fellowship is to give monetary support to students interested in pursuing practical experience in environmental law. The exact number of awards and amounts vary each year and will be determined based on the amount of money ELS raises during the academic school year. To be eligible, students must be an active ELS members and must spend a minimum of 4 volunteer hours working with ELS over the course of the academic year.

An email notification containing the fellowship application and instructions will go out in the Spring Semester before finals.
