I grew up in Chicago and attended Yale University, where I received a B.A. in History. After graduating, I worked in the Chicago Public Schools coordinating after-school tutoring programs and was an Americorps Fellow at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. An evening law student, I worked as the Deputy Director of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center during my first year of law school.

This past summer I interned at Business and Professional People for the Public Interest. I am currently interning at the Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing. I am also a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. In my spare time, I enjoy riding my bike, watching comedy specials and trying out new foods.
