Anthony was raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He received a B.A. in Music and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and moved to Atlanta, Georgia shortly after graduation. Before law school, he was a paralegal at a mid-size consumer bankruptcy firm and a start-up disability law firm, in addition to working in the restaurant industry and performing as a freelance musician.

Following his 1L year, Anthony worked as a law clerk in the in-house legal department of executive search firm Spencer Stuart, where he primarily reviewed client contracts and assisted counsel with legal inquiries from firm personnel. During his 2L summer, Anthony was a Summer Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and plans to rejoin the firm as an Associate following graduation.

Anthony also is a senior member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a Teaching Assistant for first-year legal writing classes. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys lifting weights and dusting off his rusty jazz bass chops. He is also very passionate about the Atlanta rap scene.
