Laurel is a 3L at Chicago-Kent. She graduated from Gannon University (Erie, PA) with a BA in Legal Studies. Laurel is also a member of the trial team, child and family law society, LAMDAS, women in law, and student animal defense legal fund at Chicago-Kent. She was also the student administrative assistant at Chicago- Kent for the 2013-2014 academic year. She is currently a law clerk at the Office of the Public Guardian, Domestic Relations division, where she represents children, as a 711 law clerk, during contest divorce and custody proceedings. After she graduates, Laurel hopes to work in the family law field, continuing her work in children’s rights.
