Manuela is a third-year law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she serves as an Executive Articles Editor in Law Review and as part of the board of the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association. Manuela has experience in litigation as she previously worked for the Chicago-Kent litigation law clinic and as a paralegal for a litigation law firm before starting law school. Born and raised in Colombia, Manuela is bilingual and can assist with Spanish translation to assist clients and translate documents.

Manuela earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Missouri Southern State University, where she majored in Political Science and International studies. While not studying or working, she likes to go on runs by the lake or learning how to brake on her rollerblades. She likes exploring the city and finding new restaurants.
