In the Chicago-Kent Auditorium on Tuesday, October 8, the Lambdas is joining the Chicago-Kent Diversity Committee in hosting a panel discussion around the oral arguments in an upcoming consolidated set of cases before the Supreme Court. These three cases (Bostock v. Clayton County, Altitude Express v. Zarda, and R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes v. EEOC) will be consolidated for one hour of oral argument on the issue: Does the federal ban on employment discrimination “because of sex” apply to discrimination based on sexual orientation?
