Mackenzie is a third-year law student pursuing a J.D. with a certificate in Environmental and Energy law at Chicago-Kent. She has graduated from Central Michigan University with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Sustainability and Environmental Policy. She is passionate about the protection of our environment. She has also worked as a Farmers’ Market Manager and has a passion for sustainable food systems. In addition to being the Vice President of SALDF she has also been and Associate Editor for the Journal of Environment and Energy Law as well as a member of the Executive Board for the Environmental Law Society as a class representative.

Her goal after receiving her J.D. is to work to protect the environment either through the government or nonprofit work. Her favorite terrestrial animal is the Red Panda and aquatic animal is the Grey Whale. She is excited to be a part of this excellent organization!
