At every turn, Alexandra George has made sure that Chicago Kent is a more culturally competent place for students and the community. Alexandra, from the start, used her time at Chicago-Kent to serve the Kent community starting at the Career Services office. From there, she balanced work and becoming a leader in both LAMBDAS and Immigration Law Society. Her passion for making sure marginalized groups are heard didn’t stop there. Alexandra used her Kent connections and her well-spoken demeanor to travel to Dilly Texas on in service at the Dilley Detention Center to assist asylum seekers. Her voice didn’t stop there, since she has worked to get immigrants visas. Alexandra embodies what service leader means at Chicago-Kent.
