Joanna Martin is a well-rounded leader at Chicago-Kent. She started her service-driven leadership by working at the Self Help Web Center her 1L year. That work carried over years as she now serves as the President of both Hispanic/Latino Law Student Association and Immigration Law Society. Joanna’s involvement in the Chicago-Kent community has led to a series of successful and well-attended events. Not only is she a figure for on-campus events, but she was instrumental in securing major funding for the Dilley Detention Center Immigration trip. Her endless work on campus carried her through representing Chicago-Kent throughout the community on too many projects to list here. Chicago-Kent will miss the incredible addition Joanna Martin made to student inclusion and service.
