An Illinois native, I earned a B.A. in History from the University of Illinois, a B.A. in Humanities and Social Science from Shimer College, and an M.A. in Humanities from the University of Chicago. Prior to attending law school, I worked as the Manager of Customer Relations for Americaneagle.com, a prominent Chicago-area web developer. I also serve as chair of the admissions committee on the Shimer College Board of Trustees.

I am currently working on my Intellectual Property Law Certificate. In addition, I am an active member of the Intellectual Property Law Society and serve as managing editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. In my spare time, I enjoy classic literature, cheesy fantasy/sci-fi movies, and anything written by Aaron Sorken.
