2026 Summer Candidacy Program

The 2026 Chicago-Kent Law Review Summer Candidacy Program (SCP) will run from Saturday, May 16, 2026, through Wednesday, May 27, 2026. All SCP submissions are due May 27, 2026, at 11:59 pm CST.

The SCP Research Materials will be made available here at 9:00 am CST on May 16, 2026.

The instructions for the 2026 Summer Candidacy Program can be found at Instructions Doc – 2026 Summer Candidacy Program.docx. To access the SCP Packet, please log into OneDrive using your Kent email.

In order to participate in the SCP, you must request a Candidate Exam Number by emailing cklrsummercandidacyprogram@gmail.com. The deadline to request a Candidate Exam Number is Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 11:59 pm. To obtain your exam number, email cklrsummercandidacyprogram@gmail.com with the subject line “SCP Exam Number Request.”  In your email, please include your full name, phone number, class year, and whether you are in the full time day or part-time/evening divisions.

Starting Saturday, May 16th you may not contact any law review member except the designated contact people:

They will be available to help you with questions about the write-on process but will NOT be available to answer any question related to the substantive issues in the SCP Packet.
