Maria Shenny is a 3L first-generation law student originally from the Chicago West suburbs. Her second year on the FGLSA executive board, Maria will proudly act as the Director of Operations. Previously, Maria served as the Secretary for the organization.
Maria is currently working towards her certificate in Intellectual Property, with a special interest in trademarks. In addition to her work with FGLSA, Maria is an Executive Articles Editor for the Chicago-Kent Law Review. She is currently working in a boutique firm that provides a range of corporate and transactional services, in addition to specializing in tax controversy, bankruptcy, business formation, and commercial litigation.
Maria received her Bachelor’s in English Literature from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with minors in Biological Sciences and Psychology.
In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her family, listening to her records, and hanging out with her beloved pets: a pup and two parakeets.
