Solaris Naquin is a first-generation law student and proudly serves as the Secretary of the First-Generation Law Student Association. Solaris is also a member of the International Moot Court Honors Society and of the Veterans Law Society at Kent. Solaris received her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice & Criminology, summa cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago with minors in Arabic Language & Culture and Computer Forensics.
Solaris spent the summer after her first year of law school as a legal intern for the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General. During her time with “OIG,” Solaris drafted legal memorandums, provided policy recommendations to the office based in legal research, and worked on compiling data that will be key in future investigations.
In her free time, Solaris likes to workout, is learning how to be a metalsmith, and enjoys finding new places to check out in the city she has come to call home.
