This is a great way to raise money for a local animal rescue organization!
* Voting will take place on Thursday, 10/29 from 9am-5pm in the front lobby, $1 per vote.
* The winner will receive a $20 gift card to Petco/Petsmart/Pet Supplies Plus and the remainder of the proceeds will be donated to a local animal rescue organization.
Donations Benefit
TAF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that assists shelters, rescues and individuals by paying the medical bills of homeless pets. TAF also promotes adoption and responsible pet ownership, including spay and neuter.
Last year, our sponsored animal was Hazel Grace. It was September 29, 2014 when Hazel Grace was flown in from Missouri (Tom from Pilots N Paws) to receive life-saving medical care for burns to her body after being set on fire.
For the next seven weeks, Hazel Grace was hospitalized and underwent treatment for her burns, secondary skin infections and heartworm. After leaving the hospital, Hazel Grace went on to receive a skin graft on her belly/groin area so that she would regain full range of motion in her legs.
After overcoming months of physical and emotional rehabilitation, Hazel Grace is now in training to be one of TAF’s therapy dogs and is an inspiration to people around the world. She receives letters from children and teenagers who are going through some tough times and look to her progress for encouragement and inspiration. Hazel Grace’s life experiences have moved those when they have needed it most and uplifted those who needed a smile.
