Hanna Kaufman is a dedicated public servant. She is incredibly passionate about helping others, and she has an infectious personality that makes everyone who meets her want to go out and change the world. While at Chicago-Kent, Hanna has volunteered countless hours at the Self-Help Web Center as a volunteer guide and at The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights as a volunteer child advocate. Hanna received a PILI her first law school summer and worked in the Immigration Program at the Chicago Legal Clinic. Recently, Hanna represented Center for Access to Justice and Technology in Washington D.C., speaking at The White House about the work that the Center does. – nomination text
