Dana Pownall is more than just a classmate. Dana has always found time and consideration to give to those around her, be it through the Alumni office, a student organization that needed more volunteers, or a student like myself who has reached out when the path before me was clouded. Dana is the student that we should all strive to be at Kent. She turned around an inactive American Constitution Society turning the chapter the title of the Most Active Chapter for a week from the National American Constitution Society. Her hard work saw ACS put on close to 20 different events this year. Even with all that, Dana Pownall found the time to be on the Student Alumni Board as well as be the Submissions Editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law. – nomination text
