Brenda Robinson focuses her practice on intellectual property, including copyright and trademark, and entertainment matters on behalf of clients in the music, film, television and sports industries. She represents clients in the drafting and negotiating of trademark and copyright licensing agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, trademark and copyright registration, litigation counseling in connection with trademark and copyright infringement and misappropriation claims, intellectual property assessment and valuation, and social media counseling and policies. Brenda also has experience in trademark clearance searches and opinions, monitoring, trademark protection and enforcement, and copyright assignment and permissions requests.
She has provided legal counsel in the area of sports and entertainment, as well as in the music, film and television industries, to numerous recording artists,musicians and composers, actors and actresses, production companies, authors, arts organizations, athletes and entertainers in issues involving contract negotiation and preparation, talent agreements, artist management agreements, letters of intent, music publishing and co‐publishing agreements, literary publishing agreements, screenplay and script review, script clearance and private offering memoranda in connection with film financing.
