The Self-Help Resource Center (SHRC) – formerly the Self Help Web Center – is located on the 6th floor of the Circuit Court of Cook County at the Richard J. Daley Center and is managed and staffed by volunteer law students from Chicago-Kent College of Law. The SHRC is designed to serve as a starting point for pro-se litigants, or individuals representing themselves in a legal matter, who must navigate an unfamiliar and complex court system on their own.
Please note that the SHRC does not provide legal advice or representation.
