Alexander Rabanal

Research Fellow and Associate Director of The Law Lab at Chicago-Kent

Alexander Rabanal serves as Faculty Advisor for the Self-Help Web Center, Adjunct Professor for the Program in Public Interest Law, and as Research Fellow and Associate Director of the Law Lab at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. As Faculty Advisor, Professor Rabanal oversees the SHWC managerial team as well as our team of student volunteers. He also assists with training volunteers and developing new resources for the SHWC that improve access to justice through technology.

Professor Rabanal teaches a number of courses at Chicago-Kent in professional responsibility, technology and access to justice, and legal innovation and technology. As Associate Director of The Law Lab, he also manages operations for the law school’s legal innovation and technology program.

Alexander received his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he graduated cum laude and as a James Scholar. He received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law where he also graduated cum laude and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and International Moot Court Honors Society.
