WIL and the Immigration Law Society are co-hosting a free self-defense workshop in conjunction with a short presentation on the significance of the Violence Against Women Act to women and immigrants! Come learn about VAWA and pick up some great self-defense tactics!

Women in Law will be selling tickets to its 3rd Annual Ladies Brunch TODAY and TUESDAY outside of the Spak from 10-3.
Brunch will be Saturday, March 8th from 11am-1pm at the Zodiac in Neiman Marcus! Tickets are $25 each- a small price to pay for this event!

WIL is teaming up with the Chicago-Kent Sportfeasors and the Irish American Law Student Association to participate in the Shamrock Shuffle 8k run/walk on March 30th. We’ll be working together to fundraise for PAWS Chicago, a Chicago no kill animal shelter.

Come see your classmates as they perform in the Vagina Monologues tonight at 7:30 pm! A cocktail reception begins in the lobby at 6:30 pm and we’ll also have a reception after the show. Tickets are just $10 at the door and all proceeds go to charity.

Please join the Illinois Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and Chicago-Kent Women in Law for our fall networking event, “Marketing Yourself: Empowerment Through Networking!” There will be some excellent panelists from a variety of different legal backgrounds, and Kent is generously hosting a cocktail reception following the panel discussion for you to meet, mingle and practice your networking skills.
