National Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month! Chicago-Kent Law Review is proud to commemorate Native American Heritage Month by recognizing Debra Harry, Ph.D.‘s insightful article entitled Indigenous Peoples and Gene Disputes, 84 Chi.-Kent L. Rev. 147 (2009).

Harry’s article, published by our Law Review in 2009, chronicles the experiences of Indigenous people who were subject to genetic research “carried out in insensitive, and sometimes harmful, ways.”
