Director & Public Interest / Diversity Advisor
Michelle is the primary counselor regarding public sector careers and office liaison on diversity initiatives. She oversees all public interest and diversity programming, resources and job fairs. Michelle earned her Juris Doctor degree at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and has worked professionally in a number of legal and non-profit settings including the Loyola University Child Law Clinic, Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Amnesty International, the Ohio Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the Chicago immigration law firm of Davidson & Schiller where she worked primarily with clients seeking asylum. She currently serves on the Advisory Committee for PSJD, an online public service job search resource for students and alumni. She is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association Legal Aid Committee; the National Association of Law Placement (NALP) Public Service, and Diversity committees; and the American Bar Association Government and Public Sector Division. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at The Ohio State University and is a member of the Illinois Bar.
