Cannabis law is a rare, unsaturated legal field in which we intend to help our fellow Chicago-Kent students succeed. Not merely “cannabis law”; corporate, criminal, environmental, equal rights, health, and IP law are just a few legal fields that have already found a place in this budding industry.

The Cannabis Law Society’s career panels and networking events will provide opportunities to connect with cannabis industry experts while learning the nuances of cannabis law.

To kick off 4/20 weekend we’re going to introduce the community to Chicago’s cannabis industry. Most cannabis events remain closed off to the general public, but we want Chicagoans to get to know their local dispensaries, advocates, and legislators as legalization rolls out in 2019.

Currently seeking event sponsors, merch for gift bags, and companies/organizations that would like set up a table at the riverfront event. Email cannabislawsociety@kentlaw.iit.edu for more details.
